Power naps: A lost ritual…
Insight #39
There’s something incredibly refreshing about a power nap in the afternoon.
It’s a pause—a moment to recharge, reset, and take on the rest of the day with renewed energy.
I’ve always believed in the power of a quick 10-15 minute nap.
It’s amazing how such a simple act can completely change how we feel, think, and work.
I wish I could incorporate this practice into my daily routine, and even encourage those around me to do the same.
But, somehow, life has become too fast, too demanding.
There’s always another task, another email, another meeting.
The pace of life has made it difficult to pause, even when we know it would benefit us.
But here’s a thought: what if we used part of that one-hour lunch break at work to take a quick nap?
Imagine the benefits—a short rest to reboot our minds and bodies.
Could this be a simple yet powerful way to increase productivity, focus, and overall well-being?
Maybe the key isn’t always pushing harder but knowing when to rest.
Would you take a power nap during lunch if you could? How do you think it would affect your day?
P.S.: I know my team is now going to immediately ask me for resting spaces in the office!
